What are Connect Groups?
At KCC, we believe in SMALL church just as much as BIG church. Real growth and life change, happen in the context of community. When you join a Connect Group you find friendship, and the opportunity to support and pray for one another. Doing life together is crucial to the life of a believer.
Hosting a group is simple because we all have something to offer others. Whether it’s something you are passionate about, an experience you’ve had that can help others, or an area in which you are looking to grow, hosting a group is a great way to bring people together in meaningful community.
Connect Groups are where we do life together. They give us an opportunity to get to know each other, pray for each other and build community.
Connect Groups generally meet on a weekly or bi-weekly schedule. Frequency may vary depending on the group.
Yes! Connect Groups are interest based. One group may meet at a coffee shop, while another might meet at City Park to play volleyball. There could be groups centred around specific studies, prayer, marriage, hiking, soccer or coffee. If you see the need for a group that isn’t there, consider leading one!
Yes! Connect Groups meet at varied times during the week so you can be apart of more than one!
After signing up for your Connect Group you can expect an email from us. It will provide details such as the time and place of the group, as well as contact information for your Connect Group Leader(s).
