Building Beyond Borders has sponsored many oversea mission trips through Global Ministry Training Center. Hundreds of students have been given the opportunity to experience and invest in 3rd world countries. Whether it be working with orphanages in Russia, rural areas of the Dominican Republic, or feeding programs in Albania, the world is the stage to practice the golden rule and make a difference. More recently there has been a concentrated focus on Kenya, Africa. From setting up a satellite computer lab to building a 24 panel solar power system in a children’s home, from feeding kids in the garbage dumps to pouring cement floors – perhaps it would be in your heart to join us one day to experience what God can do through you in foreign country.

Global Citizenship Program has been taking Grade 11 and 12 students and immersing them into other world cultures for 1 to 2 month trips while continuing in their educational studies. This program is shifting cultural mind sets, introducing community development strategies and raising the awareness of children at risk. GCP not only creates awareness and identifies need, it pursues strategies that introduce hands on work projects that make a difference. Donations to this program have helped build a roof for a school with handicapped students as well as work on a community soccer field in Mexico.
