Life should be more than
just the day-to-day grind

Getting connected to one of the many Life Groups at KCC is a great way for you to meet new friends and build stronger relationships with God and others.

If you are new to the family of God and you have given your life to Jesus the changes in you can be incredibly exciting and powerfully overwhelming; it is new, it is different. What do I do? What do I need to know?

We have many Life Groups and one that will be right up your alley; from youth to seniors, we have a group just for you. Don’t miss out on the chance to meet tons of new people and…“GET CONNECTED”

For the three types of Life Groups check out the list below. For booklets and monthly calendars with more information on each Life Group visit the “Connections Center” in the foyer or view the Lifegroup Booklet with all of the details to help you to discover how you can feel right at home at Kelowna Christian Center and … Get Connected!

Ever Thought About Leading a Life Group?

A Life Group Leader is not expected to be a teacher or biblical scholar, a strong personality, the most popular person, or even an extrovert, but to have a heart to see others grow in the Lord.

Here are some of the qualities we look for in potential Life Group Leaders:

  • Openness to God. This involves being faithful, available, teachable and committed to personal spiritual growth.
  • A group facilitator. We ask leaders to guide, plan and lead the discussion, but we help by providing the materials for the leaders.
  • A shepherd. A leader should encourage, pray, listen and serve the group. A successful leader asks, “Are my group members well-cared for?”
  • A multiplier. Keeping an eye open for potential new leaders within a group is one way that Life Group Leaders help launch new groups within our church.
